Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club is seeking Summer Swim Instructors in Ambler, PA

As a Swim Instructor at Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club, you will take the lead on swimming programs, offering both individual and group lessons specifically designed for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who possess a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and a natural talent for motivating young swimmers while nurturing their appreciation and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor from to become part of our team and support our Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club located in Ambler, PA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and encouraging learning environment for all students
• Track student progress, offer feedback, and provide guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Previous experience working with students across different ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficient swimming skills and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
• Thorough understanding of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Outstanding communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching abilities
• Effective behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations with composure and professionalism
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous as it showcases familiarity with working with children within a structured environment!
• A genuine love and enthusiasm for swimming and children!
