Job Title: Aircraft Repair Station Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise all Repair Station operations; direct and oversee annual, scheduled, and non-scheduled aircraft inspections, repair, maintenance.
Ensure quality assurance; review, revise, and monitor compliance with Repair Station Manual; assess training needs; confirm certifications.
Manage fleet reliability; monitor maintenance and repair work for completeness, accuracy and timeliness; ensure equipment and tools are properly calibrated; address deficiencies; identify and recommend equipment upgrades; document and maintain records.
Manage aircraft parts inventory; approve and track orders ensuring numbers and product quality meet operational requirements; as needed, arrange parts transport to shippers; create/update shelf-life program; document and appropriately dispose of scrapped parts.
Keep abreast of technical data and regulatory requirement changes; update manuals, publications, policy and procedures; notify personnel.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, customers, charter operators, etc.; coordinate repairs, costs, scheduling; advocate Repair Station services.
Hire, train, coach, supervise, schedule, and evaluate employees; plan and coordinate professional development opportunities; adhere to Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions; participate in grievance/arbitration proceedings.
